Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippicott. Just in case you’ve only seen the movie, you should definitely check out the book! There are quite a few differences between the book and the movie that will make this feel like a brand-new read. But I’d still recommend having tissues next to you because this book is just as heartbreaking. 7.
September 17, 2023. age 13+. This movie is my absolute favorite and always will be. A lot say that it’s mainly focused on sex but it’s not. They don’t do anything. They do however wish they could kiss each other. ! Spoiler warning! They do have sensitive topics such as a main character dying due to the sickness he has.

But yeah, I really liked this book. It ripped my heart to shreds and dropped my heart into a deep, terrible abyss of sadness and tears, but it was still beautiful. My only real complaint is that there are some parts of the book that are poorly written. Well, actually most of the book is pretty poorly written.
